About the Work
Revolution Revelation is site-specific, interactive live art created for for Gen Art, Ignite!. The work features a kinetic, modular installation, original music and performance. As viewers enter the installation, 14-foot veils hang in bunches next to the building's columns. When the music begins, dancers pull the veils out and across the floor, creating a large-scale, transparent zigzag formation suspended diagonally between columns. Within this construction, an interactive performance occurs. At the show's finale, the performers pull back the formation and the installation disappears.
