About the Work

Telepath examines the intersection of human, industrial and ecological environments, where species adapt to disappearing native habitats, expansive development and outdated power structures, both literally and metaphorically.

This piece is inspired by a Little Owl (Athene noctua) living in a non-functional utility/telephone pole in Divinlar, Turkey and is a mixed media sculpture collaboration with Theodore Lillie.
