About the Work
Triptych Act I, Creatrix with Red Poppies, is an interactive installation combining painting and drawing, live art, earthwork, video and sound projection, with narrative by Carolyn Hart. Installation walls are marked with drawings and text made with poppy paint (poppy petals ground with water, mortar and pestle) and poppy charcoal (burnt dried poppy stems.)
