About the Work
Flags is a time-based, site-specific installation. Constructed of various fabrics including silk, chiffon, organza, cotton and marked with oil paint, prints, drawing and embroidery, five flags represent the five elements: fire, air, earth, water and ether. Flags are tied to Fir tree branches and suspended 30 feet off the ground.
