About the Work

Vulture Circles are oil paintings on hemp with ultra-chrome ink jet photographs printed on transparent veils and various trims. The paintings reflect the bird's flight path and body image or shadow as it flies over the landscape, as well as the mythology of vultures that carry the human spirit to the heavens.
